He tried to get a 13-year-old female family member to have sex with him, she refused, so he shot her. Now he’s going to prison for 75 years. Timothy Harris, 34, received that sentence on Thursday from a Jefferson County Jury after they found him guilty of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Family Violence. The crime occurred in March of 2020 at a Port Arthur apartment complex. The child suffered a gunshot wound to her lower body, and after surgery she eventually recovered. Harris has spent the last 4 years and 3 month in the Jefferson County Jail unable to make bond.
