MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - Marshall police have arrested three in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old boy on Sunday. According to the release, Donyan Dillard, 35, Devan Hurd, 22, and Jaquavious Robinson, 21, all of Marshall, were arrested after a joint investigation by the Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, Marshall Police Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Police Department, and Jefferson Police Department. All three men were booked on charges of murder in the death of Tristian Phelps. According to information released by the police department, on Sunday officers responded to a 911 call received at 2:22 a.m. reporting multiple gunshots in the 1100 block of Sanford Street. The caller stated that some 20 to 30 gunshots were fired before a vehicle was heard leaving the scene. At least two other 911 calls corroborated the report of gunshots, investigators said. When they arrived at the scene, officers said they found Phelps critically injured. Phelps was transported to a Marshall hospital where he later died due to his injuries. The three suspects are being held in the Harrison County Jail on $1 million bonds.
