3 arrested in connection with Marshall drive-by shooting

MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - Marshall police say three males were arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. Police say Abdiel Vences, 18, Jordan Hernandez, 17, and one unnamed minor were arrested just after midnight Thursday. Marshall 911 dispatchers received a call from someone reporting they had been shot at in the 1200 block of East Bowie. Police arrived and discovered that the shots did not hit anyone. Further investigation led to the arrests of Vences, Hernandez and the juvenile. Vences was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, engaging in organized criminal activity, failure to identify/giving false or fictitious info, as well as possession of marijuana <2 ounces. Hernandez was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity and unlawfully carrying a weapon. Both remain in the Harrison County Jail. Police did not indicate what the juvenile was charged with, if anything.
