POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Three people were arrested and one person is on the run after Polk County deputies recovered stolen property on Tuesday.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a theft in progress in the Goodrich area where three people were found.
Detectives determined that multiple thefts had been reported from the same property over the weekend. A tractor and items previously stolen off the property were also recovered.
Christi Coleman, Lonnie Long and Eddie Doolan were arrested for burglary of a building and engaging in organized criminal activity.
Detectives were then able to link James “JJ” Grubbs to the incident. Grubbs has not been located and has two active felony warrants for burglary of a building and engaging in organized criminal activity.
The sheriff’s office said this case is still an active investigation and additional charges are pending.
