MANSFIELD, La. - Two men wanted in connection with a shooting last week that injured a child are now in custody. Frank Edwards Jr., 26, of Mansfield, turned himself in on Tuesday. Shunski Travon Roberson, 40, also of Mansfield, surrendered Wednesday afternoon. Both are charged with illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. Edwards is also charged with possession of firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. And Roberson is also charged with second-degree cruelty to juveniles. The two were involved in a shootout on the old Walmart parking lot on Sept. 14. The child who was shot was sitting in a car that was in the crossfire. The child was hit in the leg.
