CLARENCE, La. -- Two people suffered moderate to severe injuries Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash near Clarence. Life Air Evac helicopter was called to the scene to transport the victims to regional trauma centers, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office said. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 71 near the Marcelli Road north of Clarence.
