HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — Two people are dead after a plane crash in Henderson County.
Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said crash occurred near Echo Lake in Murchison.
The call came in for the crash around 5:13 p.m. A spokesperson for Texas DPS said two people on board died in the crash.
Flight logs show the plane departing from near Nacogdoches at 4:38 p.m.
The Texas DPS and FAA are investigating.
