2 arrested after guns, drugs seized during Longview house search

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Two Longview men are in jail after a search warrant found a large amount of guns and drugs Monday, police say. According to a Wednesday Facebook post, Michael Hill, 50, and Jabrealyn Carlisle, 23, were arrested after a narcotics search warrant was executed in the 900 block of South 14th Street on Monday. During the search, the post said they found a 12 gauge shotgun, an AK-47, a .40 caliber pistol carbine, and two handguns with extended magazines. A large amount of drugs were found as well, they said: 68.2 grams of methamphetamine, 9.4 grams of Xanax, 6.613 pounds of marijuana, 2.6 grams of promethazine, 4.2 grams of hydrocodone, two M30 fentanyl pills, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, 8.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and five bottles of different prescription drugs. An unreported amount of cash was also found, they said. Carlisle was charged with seven counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and unlawful carry of a weapon. Hill was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Hill is being held in the Gregg County Jail on a $20,000 bond. Carlisle’s bonds total $387,500.
