NATCHITOCHES, La. (KSLA) - Natchitoches police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15. Officers responded to the 400 block of Fairgrounds Road after getting a call about someone being shot. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, where he later died. No suspect information is available at this time. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
