LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A woman is dead and a Longview man has been arrested after a Monday shooting, Longview police said.
Lavan Bullock, 66, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Kathleen Bullock.
Police were called around 4:08 p.m. Monday to the 400 block of Crystal Street for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found Kathleen Bullock had been shot.
Longview police say Kathleen Bullock was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lavan Bullock was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
