HOUSTON COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) — Deputies with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man accused of shooting at another driver on State Highway 21 Friday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post, deputies responded to the Mapleton area at 12:03 p.m. Friday after receiving a call about a road rage incident. The caller said that someone from another vehicle shot at them with a handgun.
Dispatch called the Madison County Sheriff’s Office because they suspected the vehicle was about to cross the county line. A Madison County deputy stopped the suspect vehicle. When Houston County deputies arrived, they arrested a man on charges of second-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor B reckless driving.
