Vernon Parish Arrest Reports for October 2, 2020

Over the last 24 hours, the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office reports 5 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Any questions about today’s arrest report should be directed to the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 537-4152. Arrested were:

Patrick Neal Payne, arrested on charges of driving on roadway laned for traffic, turning movements and required signals, possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a felon, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Task Force. Payne remains in jail.

Matthew D. Struckman, arrested on charges of possession of schedule II, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Task Force. Struckman remains in jail.

Charles Allen Favrot, arrested on charges of possession of schedule II, when limited lights are required, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Task Force. Favrot remains in jail.

Leah James, arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth in excess of 28 grams, possession of schedule II with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, stop signs and yield signs, proper equipment required on vehicle, possession of legend drug, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Task Force. James remains in jail.

Mikah A. Demoraes, arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II with intent to distribute, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Task Force. Demoraes remains in jail.
