Over the last 48 hours, the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office reports 6 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Any questions about today’s arrest report should be directed to the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 238-1311. Arrested were:

Tanner Ross, white male, arrested on charges of illegal carrying of weapons, illegal possession of stolen things, introduction of contraband, illegal possession of stolen firearms, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Task Force. Ross remains in jail.

William S. Maddox, white male. arrested on charges of bench warrant (drug court), by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office. Maddox remains in jail.

Jeremy Waymind, white male, arrested on charges of possession of schedule IV, possession of firearm by felon, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office. Waymind remains in jail.

Robert Van Marsh Jr., arrested on charges of bench warrant-2 counts, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office. Marsh remains in jail.

Michael A. Wilson, arrested on charges of warrant-out of jurisdiction, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office. Wilson remains in jail.

Kevin P. O'Neal, arrested on charges of bench warrant, by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office. O'Neal remains in jail.
