Over the past 72 hours, the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Office reports 2 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Dexter Alexander Edwards, black male, arrested on charges of DWI-2nd offense, by San Augustine Police Department. He remains in jail.
Lasha Lavette Jones, black female, arrested on charges of warrant for probation violation, DWI-with child under 15 years of age, by Texas Department of Public Safety. She remains in jail.
