Over the past 24 hours, the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Office reports 2 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Jake Earl Hendrix, black male, arrested on charges of driving with invalid/suspended license with prior conviction, by San Augustine Police Department. He remains in jail.
Toinette Renee Watkins, black female, arrested on charges of theft of property, failure to identify, by San Augustine Police Department. She remains in jail.
