Over the past 24 hours, the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Office report 2 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Miguel Demonite Johnson, black male, arrested on charges of driving while license invalid/suspended with prior conviction, reckless driving, drove wrong way in designated lane, by San Augustine Police Department. He remains in jail.
Rashelle Shanette Polk, black female, arrested on charges of hinder apprehension/prosecution, by San Augustine County Sheriff's Office. She remains in jail.
