Over the past 24 hours, the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Office report 3 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Cody Roy Evans, white male, arrested on charges of possession of controlled substance, theft, by San Augustine County Sheriff's Office. He remains in jail.
Denise Michelle Johnson, black male, arrested on charges of criminal mischief, by San Augustine County Sheriff's Office. She remains in jail.
Wallace Charles Smith, black male, Shelby County warrant-DWI second offense, by San Augustine Police Department. He remains in jail.
