Over the past 24 hours, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reports 3 arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Any questions about today’s arrest report should be directed to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at (409) 384-5417. Arrested were:
Tajiah Cheyne Barnes, black female, arrested on charges of theft of property, by Jasper Police Department. She remains in jail.
Stefan Lamon Jackson, black male, arrested on charges of criminal trespass, by Jasper Police Department. He remains in jail.
Jake Allen Ernst, white male, arrested on charges of evading arrest/detection with vehicle, by Texas Department Public Safety.
