Yesterday morning, a man from Woodworth, LA died in a single vehicle crash.

It happened around 6:35 a.m., on LA Hwy 496, west of LA Hwy 3054.  The crash involved a 2015 Harley Davidson, driven by Aaron L. Arthur. Arthur was heading westbound on LA Hwy 496, when he lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the motorcycle traveled down an embankment before striking some tree debris.

As a result, Arthur was ejected from the motorcycle. Troopers say he was wearing a helmet.

Routine toxicology tests are pending.
