Woman Dies Following Stabbing; Suspect Arrested

Natchitoches police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman Sunday morning.

Police were called about 2:13 a.m. regarding a stabbing in the 400 block of Sibley Street .

That’s where officers found 55-year-old Katherine White with several stab wounds, according to Natchitoches police.

White was transported to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.

Hours later, police arrested 53-year-old Natchitoches resident Terrence Luke on a charge of second-degree murder.

He remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center, where he was booked at 7:53 a.m., booking records show.
