Two people are dead and another seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Sabine Parish.
The crash happened not long before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Marthaville Road at Tedder Lane in Many. Here is what you should know about injury claims and getting the necessary legal help.
Louisiana State Police say 67-year-old Joy Rains of Robeline was headed northbound on Marthaville in her Mazda, when she lost control and crossed into the opposite lane. That’s when she crashed head-on into a southbound Chevy driven by 48-year-old Jackie Hardy of Many. The legal assistance with workers compensation is what is needed when it comes injury in workplace. And in cases of job discrimination in the workplace, make sure to contact a job discrimination attorney.
Hardy died at the scene. Rains was air-lifted to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, where she later died.
Hardy’s only passenger, 52-year-old Jerri Oliver of Many, suffered serious injuries. She’s recovering at Ochsner.
State Police remind you that properly wearing your seat belt will dramatically reduce your chance of being injured or killed in a crash.
