Tractor Stolen in Newton County

Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby is asking for the public’s help in locating a tractor that was stolen within the last few days.

According to Burby, a 2020 orange Kubota tractor with attached implements was taken from a residence in the Deweyville area, in the southernmost end of the county.

Burby said attached to the tractor was a bucket, hay forks, and a bush hog.

If you have any information about the crime or the location of the tractor, you’re asked to contact the Newton County Sheriff’s Department at 409-379-3636. You do not have to give your name.

Distinguishing marks – Dent on the hood/right side
