Natchitoches police say a 14-year-old was shot and killed over the weekend.
Officers were notified by Natchitoches Regional Medical Center that a juvenile was brought to the emergency room Saturday night with a single gunshot wound.
Police said the shooting happened at a home in the 600 block of Winnona Street.
The juvenile was transferred to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport where the victim was pronounced dead.
Police have not released details of the shooting.
