A car crash in Tuesday injured a Sabine Parish deputy. The deputy was on her way to pick up an inmate in Bossier City when her department van was rear ended.
The accident happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Barksdale Boulevard.
The deputy hit her head on the steering wheel was alert but was taken to Willis Knighton in Bossier City to be checked out.
The other vehicle sustained more damage but no word on the condition of that driver.
