What is The Moving Tribute?

The goal of the Moving Tribute is to have the American Flag in constant motion from sunrise to sunset to honor all those that have been impacted from the attacks of 9/11 on American soil.

The constant movement of the Flag is to show our Strength and Unity as a Nation. Team RWB invites you to join our community this year to stand as one.

“We can’t bring our loved ones back. But perhaps in tribute, we can work to rekindle the spirit of unity that arose in the aftermath of the attacks.”

Alice Hoagland. Lost son, Mark Bingham, Flight 93

The 9/11 Attacks accomplished something that no other tragedy has done in modern times. It brought together unprecedented strength in our community and as a Nation.

Come out and show that we still stand TALL, that we will NEVER FORGET and help us carry the weight of the American Flag

There are two ways you can honor the victims and survivors. First is through Volunteering and the Second is with Donating Blood. We will have the Life Share Bus onsite from 12:00PM to 5:00PM.

Team RWB will be cooking and there will be drinks provided.

The day will begin at 8:30 am with a visual display in BPCC Quad. A series of photographs and text documents will serve as a historic timeline, taking guests through the events of that historic day as it happened.
