Pineland Water Tower Valve Opened for Maintenance Purposes

KJAS News received a video on Monday showing water pouring out of the side of the City of Pineland water tower. However, there was no cause for alarm as a Pineland City Hall employee said that a valve was opened on purpose as the tank was undergoing routine maintenance.

The water tower serves Pineland’s approximately 800 citizens which account for approximately 370 households according to the latest census numbers.

Also served by City of Pineland water is the Georgia Pacific Lumber Mill.
