About 9 last night Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Louisiana State Police, and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS responded reports of a single-vehicle injury crash on LA Hwy 117 near the Jerry Boles Road in the Kisatchie community.
36-year-old Eric Citizen of Baton Rouge, La. was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban traveling southbound when the vehicle exited the left side of the road and travelled down an embankment striking several trees.
Citizen, and his passengers, 25-year-old Deranesha Walker of Clarksville, Texas and a 1-year-old infant were transported from the scene by EMS to Byrd Medical Center in Leesville with non-life threatening injuries. The infant was restrained in a child passenger seat.
