The search is on for a man and woman who robbed the Campti City Bank at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
The robbers are described as a black male wearing what’s believed to be a shoulder-length curly wig and a white female wearing a black hoodie. Both were armed with handguns, Sheriff Victor Jones said in a news release.
Their vehicle — a white 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck with a LSU license on the front — was abandoned in Campti near U.S. Highway 71 and Lake Street.
The robbery suspects are now believed to be on the run. Anyone who sees them are asked to call 911 or the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 352-6432.
Deputies warn citizens not to approach the suspects.
