A Natchitoches woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 174 east of Interstate 49 on Monday, Feb. 24.

Louisiana State Police says Teshika Delry, 26, was traveling westbound on HWY 174 when she traveled off the right side of the highway and into a ditch. She then overcorrected her steering, traveled across the westbound travel lane and collided with a truck traveling eastbound.

Delry was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the truck, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Toxicology samples were obtained and submitted for analysis.

The crash remains under investigation.
