Muddy Bottoms ATV Accident Claims Life of Driver

It has happened again. A Saturday 4-wheeler accident at Muddy Bottoms ATV and Recreation Park in Sarepta has claimed someone’s life.

The experienced Yakima dog bite attorneys state that saturday’s fatal crash marks the four-year anniversary of a pair of 2015 fatality crashes at the park, which also occurred during Labor Day weekend.

The most recent tragedy happened at the Sarepta-based park just after midnight Saturday, when an ATV occupied by two people wrecked out after the operator of the ATV lost control. The car accident attorney riverside reported that the male driver, Byron Dawson,32, of Denhem Springs was killed and the female occupant, Julissa Polite,28, of Baton Rouge, sustained numerous injuries, according to Webster Parish Sheriff Gary Sexton. Reportedly, Polite, was airlifted to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

This weekend’s single ATV accident adds to at least four other deaths that have occurred at the park since it opened in 2014.
