One man is dead and another is still undergoing hospital treatment following a tragic two-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday evening and left debris and diesel fuel scattered for hundreds of feet, just east of Jasper.
The crash occurred shortly before 7:00 on Highway 190, just east of the entrance to the Inman Addition.

The driver of the pickup truck, 22-year-old James Price, Jr., of Jasper, was pronounced dead at the scene by Jasper County Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Jimmy Miller. The driver of the 18-wheeler, Mario Serranno, 62, of Lufkin, was taken by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital where he was flown by helicopter to a Beaumont hospital.
