Police are looking for a man they say seriously hurt an officer Monday night.

Police originally got reports of a person with a weapon and a welfare concern at around 7:00 p.m. on East Travis Street near Indian Springs Drive.

Dispatch was then notified that an officer was hurt during an altercation.

Police say the suspect, Antonio Trammel, ran away on foot. Officers are searching for him in the East Travis and Indian Springs area of Marshall.

Police say to call 911 or call the Marshall Police Department at 903-935-4575, if you notice anything unusual.

The hurt officer is stable and alert.
