Law enforcement officers in Hardin County are searching for 39-year-old Jarius Andrew Brown near Mammie L Road in Saratoga after Brown fled from a traffic stop in Sour Lake.

Earlier this morning, Sour Lake Police attempted to arrest a Brown for outstanding warrants during a traffic stop. Brown fled the scene in a vehicle. Officers pursued Brown to Mammie L Road in Saratoga, where Brown crashed the vehicle and fled into the woods on foot. Several agencies are involved in the search.

Officers describe Brown as a white male, 39-years-old, 6’2″, and weighing 210 pounds. He is believed to be armed with a firearm.
