Police in Orange are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found on Interstate 10 on Saturday.

Officers were dispatched to the location just east of Highway 62 at about 10:30 on Saturday when someone reported the body inside a Dodge four door truck that was parked on the outside eastbound shoulder.

The victim of the shooing who has only been identified or described as a white male was pronounced dead at the scene by Orange County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Hershal Stagner, Jr.

Officers have not released any additional information as they continue to investigate the incident.
