Man Arrested Following Disturbance with a Gun in McDonald’s Drive-Thru

Jasper Police say a man was arrested following a Tuesday evening disturbance involving a weapon in the drive-thru of McDonalds on South Wheeler Street.

Police were called to that location shortly before 7:00 when a woman called 911 and reported that the man had pulled a gun on her. Police have identified him as 57-year-old Robert Treadway, of Jasper.

According to Lieutenant Garrett Foster, Treadway got out of his vehicle and confronted the woman.

Treadway was arrested and has been charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $7,500.00 by Municipal Judge Robert Jackson, and he has since been released on bond.
