The Chief Executive Officer of Fleetwood Trucking in Diboll has identified their truck driver who apparently suffered a sudden medical emergency and died early Thursday morning at the Georgia Pacific Mill in Pineland.
According to Fleetwood CEO Jeff Jenkins, 39-year-old Adam Lahneman had been employed by Fleetwood for 3 or 4 years. Jenkins said of Lehman “Adam was a very, very good employee of ours and we enjoyed having him, so, we’re sad that he’s gone”.
Jenkins said “All indications that we’ve got is that he died of natural causes”.
According to Jenkins, Lahneman’s truck was in a line with other trucks waiting to load when the incident happened. Jenkins said “He was going to get loaded under a chip bin and something happened to where he actually just slowly moved forward and went into that ditch”.
Lahneman was found unresponsive in his truck, prompting immediate action. CPR was initiated at the scene before he was swiftly transported by ambulance to Hemphill Hospital. Despite the efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. In situations like these, having the knowledge and skills, such as earning a CPR certification at MyCPR NOW, can make a significant difference in providing timely and effective assistance.
