Eight Arrested After Lumberton Fight Have Been Identified

Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins has released the identities of eight people who were arrested following a knock-down drag-out drunken melee at about 1:30 Sunday morning in the Lumberton Waffle House on Highway 69. The incident, which was captured on video and then shared on social media, showed men and women, old and young, all fighting with one another.

Originally reported as all Buna residents involved, Sullins said he later learned that those arrested were actually from different towns in both Jasper and Hardin Counties.

Sullins said the following people were arrested:

~ Samantha Artie Bohler, of Silsbee

~ Jayme Shay Brewer, of Silsbee

~ Clifton Dowlen Nelson, of Buna

~ Dylan Michael Schriefer, of Kirbyville

~ Dennis John Schriefer, Jr., of Buna

~ Malcom Lynn Fuselier, Jr., of Buna

~ Jared Morgan Bohler, of Silsbee

~ Gerrell Roy Smith III, of Lumberton

Chief Sullins says each person was charged with Public Intoxication after being booked into the Hardin County Jail in Kountze.

It’s believed that all involved had apparently been involved in a disturbance at a night spot or bar in Beaumont and the dispute continued when they stopped to eat in Lumberton.
