An East Texas attorney is accused of trying to smuggle drugs to a client in the Cass County Jail in Linden.
Bryan Simmons, 49, of Atlanta, Texas, was arrested by Texas Rangers Thursday afternoon inside the jail facility.
Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe said Simmons is accused of bringing meth into the jail.
He is still awaiting his first court appearance.
