Jasper County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Mike Smith on Monday released the names of the victims of a Monday, November 15th accident which left four young people dead. The crash occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Farm to Market Road 252, about a mile north of the intersection of FM-1005.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said the car involved was traveling at a high rate of speed around a curve when it went off the highway, crashed head-on into a tree, and caught on fire.
Autopsies and DNA testing was performed in the Golden Triangle, and Judge Smith identified the victims as Kristen Crosson, Alayna Young, Amarian Levette, and Dezirae Barlow, all of whom were 19 years of age.
