A man is recovering from a shooting that started from an incident in DeSoto Parish and ended in southeast Shreveport.
Details are limited, but SPD confirmed that the shots were fired before 1 a.m. on Sunday somewhere in DeSoto Parish. The victim was located at the Kroger gas station on Ellerbe Road.
He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health and is expected to survive.
SPD tells KTBS that DeSoto Parish investigators will take the lead in the case.
