Authorities have apprehended the Shreveporter suspected of fatally shooting and running over his twin brother.
And the woman who also was shot Monday in Frierson is in serious but stable condition.
Trevor Marcel Williams, 28, was caught in Shreveport around 1:15 p.m. today at Royal Inn Motel in the 1900 block of North Market Street, DeSoto Sheriff Jayson Richardson said.
DeSoto coroner’s investigator Billy D. Locke confirms the man who was killed is 28-year-old Trenton Williams.
Trenton Williams died Monday after having been shot multiple times and run over, Locke also confirmed.
About 2:15 p.m. Monday, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a wreck on Louisiana Highway 175 at Howard Lane in Frierson.
Deputies found Trenton Williams man and the wounded woman and determined that the person who had shot them had fled the scene.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital.
Trenton Williams died at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport.
Trevor Marcel Williams was booked into Caddo Correctional Center as an in-state fugitive today at 4:39 p.m. , booking records show.
He will be taken to the DeSoto Parish Detention Center at a later time, DeSoto’s sheriff said.
Now Trevor Marcel Williams faces one count each of first-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.
Assisting DeSoto sheriff’s deputies in arresting him were Shreveport police, FBI agents and members of the Tri-Parish Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service.
