Just after 6:30 this morning the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a hit and run on Green Moore Road in Starks, LA.
A small, newer model car with small LED lights surrounding the headlights is suspected of hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The next of kin has not yet been notified so the victims name has not been released.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating the car, noting that it will have obvious damage to the lower front end.
