The Sabine N.F. will be conducting a 1,257-acre controlled burn with helicopter support today beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Compartment 103. The burn area is located near South Bayou Road, FSR 115, and Busby Point Road in Sabine County. (Block A on the burn map)

Winds are predicted from the north at 8 to 10 mph and long-range drift smoke may affect some of the surrounding areas. If you encounter smoke on the travel way, please slow down, use your low beams and drive cautiously.
