The three juveniles who escaped from the Ware Youth Center near Coushatta with the help of a security guard early Saturday have been captured.
According to authorities, the escape happened Saturday, when the security guard, Victoria Tune, 21, drove the three juveniles from the detention facility.
A warrant was issued for her and the 3 escapees: TyJuan Lafitte, 17, of Caddo Parish, who was at the youth center for attempted first-degree murder; Jeremiah Durham, 17, of Bossier Parish, for armed robbery; and Na’varaya Lane, 15, of DeSoto Parish, in custody for attempted second-degree murder.
Their run from the law didn’t last long. The four were found early Sunday morning at a motel in Houston after police there spotted Tune’s car and kept an eye on it. Within a couple of hours, the four returned to the car, being driven by the relative of one of the suspects.
They will be returned to Louisiana and will face more charges.
