Mitch Downey is no longer interim and now holds the title of Superintendent for Bossier Parish Schools.

The school board held final interviews this evening during executive session between Downey and current Executive Director of School Performance for Caddo Schools, Victor Mainiero. Downy held the position as interim superintendent after Scott Smith retired in February.
