The body of a missing boater on Sam Rayburn Reservoir has been recovered.

According to Angelina County Game Warden James Barge, the man’s body was found around 7:30 a.m. just west of the Black Forest boat ramp near Highway 147.

The body was taken to Carroway Funeral Home. The name and age of the person has not been released.
