Authorities recovered a body from the Red River Monday.
Just before 11 a.m., there was a heavy presence of first responders near the Stoner Boat Launch after a jogger reported a body in the water.
Cindy Chadwick, a spokesperson for the Caddo Sheriff’s Office, confirmed to KTBS 3 News that a Caddo deputy recovered the body and it has been taken to the Bossier City side of the river. Chadwick says SPD will be working the case.
